Michael is Chief Financial Officer of EBSI. He is also responsible for managing EBSI's Outsourcing Service to clients which a major component of EBSI's Core Business Model. Michael has over 30 years' experience in management and operational experience in both public and private accounting sectors. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Montana and California. "I know of nothing more exciting in business than to be involved in a company that has the potential to make a difference in its specific industry and have an effect in the marketplace. While it is certainly true that larger corporations generate that effect, most of those corporations started as small businesses with many needs. Whether a large established company or a small start-up company, the common thread is control of financial resources and management leadership to maximize profitability in reaching short and long-term financial goals. Prior to joining EBSI, Michael managed and operated his own Financial and Management Consulting Practice in Bozeman, Montana since 2009 where he served a variety of clients in many sectors. His main focus was system evaluation, accounting accuracy, timeliness and efficiency all geared to maximizing profitability. Michael joined Gallatin Valley Real Estate, Inc. in February 2003. He served as Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for the operations of the office, maintenance of the books, records and financial statements of the company and all of the affiliated entities. He was also responsible for the budgets of the company and projects as well as the cash flow reporting on all entities as well as the liaison between the joint venture partners and lending institutions on all the company's projects, construction loan administration and preparation of all financial reporting required by equity investors and lenders. Before Michael joined Gallatin Valley Real Estate he founded his Financial Management Consulting practice in 1991 where he served Major clients in the Gallatin Valley. In 1986 he sold his interest in Swenson & Clark to become Chief Financial Officer at McClellan Development, an Orange County based residential developer. McClellan Development developed approximately 13 subdivisions totaling Five Hundred Million dollars during Michael's tenure. Prior to McClellan Development Michael was a shareholder of Swenson & Clark, an accountancy corporation in 1983. While at Swenson & Clark he was primarily responsible for financial and management advisory services to the company's Orange County based commercial and residential developers and builders. His major role was managing and providing custom software and outsourcing of business operations for a billion dollar commercial construction company in Newport Beach, California. Michael is a graduate of the University of Montana in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis.
