Underworld is a dedicated dive facility in the heart of the Riviera Maya—perfectly positioned for some of the best diving on the planet. We specialise in Cave, Technical, and Rebreather Diving, offering everything from beginner-friendly experiences to the most advanced training. Our team of skilled, approachable instructors provide expert guiding and courses tailored to every level. Recreational divers can enjoy the breathtaking caverns of the region and the vibrant marine life of the world’s second-largest barrier reef. We also host group trips, large-scale events, and design bespoke packages for dive centres and clubs. As an affiliate centre with The Human Diver, all our advanced programs include the highly regarded HFiD: Essentials course at no extra cost. Underworld founder Lanny is a Human Factors instructor, ensuring that every class embeds these principles—especially psychological safety—to create a truly effective and supportive learning environment. Whether you’re discovering diving for the first time or going even further with cave, trimix, or instructor training, we deliver the right course through SSI, NSS-CDS, TDI/SDI, IANTD, and BSAC. For instructors, we also offer professional training using the world-class SSI system and can host institutes for potential NSS-CDS instructors.
