UNDA Renewables Information

Meet UNDA Renewables, a project based in Lisbon, Portugal. UNDA's mission is harnessing the oceans to generate better living. We aim to achieve our goal by providing electricity operators with a complete wave energy solution, the U-1. An underwater device that transforms captured wave energy into electricity onshore. We are developing and testing various iterations to accomplish both reliability and the best levelized cost of energy values. Despite other solutions being developed globally, we are the leanest when it comes to R&D. By focusing on building a robust portfolio of in-depth knowledge and skills as well as a forceful team of knowledgeable experts (in the technological, legal and management facets of the field) to both develop the strongest solution on a global scale and then service it for its lifetime. We are building partnerships with electricity and offshore operators and intend to apply for EU grants within different programmes (i.e. H2020).
