UDI (ex-Umedia) was created in 2004 to distribute worldwide, co-produce and promote arthouse films. We attend the major international film festivals and markets: Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Berlin, San Sebastian, Guadalajara, Pusan, Ventana Sur, Mipcom, Annecy, etc... ★ Winner of CAMERA D'OR at Cannes Film Festival 2011 for Las Acacias by Pablo Giorgelli ★ UDI has developed a threefold mission: ✓ International distribution: dedicated to arthouse cinema, UDI represents a catalogue of more than 80 features and 30 documentaries and shorts. Our aim is to promote our Filmmakers in major Film festivals and markets and work with distributors and theatrical networks worldwide. We also represent catalogues for French speaking territories and sell them to the TV networks. ✓ Production and co-production: from film projects to post-production facilities with our sister company, Urban Factory, we can bring ideas and solutions to producers and filmmakers by looking for pre-sales, international co-productions and establish marketing strategies. ✓ Theatrical distribution in France: Urban Distribution.
