Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC) serves a dual role as the ccTLD Manager for .tw/.台灣 and the National Internet Registry responsible for distributing Internet resources in Taiwan. TWNIC is committed to delivering world-class services to its members, engaging with stakeholders, and collaborating with international Internet organizations to uphold the principles of good governance and support Internet development in Taiwan, in the APAC region, and globally. TWNIC is dedicated to building the brands of Taiwan in the digital world. TWNIC strives to increase brand awareness, build domain value, and enable organizations and businesses in Taiwan to establish a distinct online presence that reflects their digital identities with the .tw and .台灣 domain names. Community engagement is another significant aspect of TWNIC’s operations. TWNIC supports the multistakeholder model of Internet governance, and also collaborates with stakeholders, the Internet community, and international organizations such as ICANN and APNIC to promote Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs), Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI), DNSSEC, routing security, and cybersecurity best practices, advocating for a global, open, stable, and secure Internet.
