The Tustin Police Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization created to raise funds for initiatives aimed at reducing crime, improving police officer safety, and the quality of life for the residents of Tustin. Since January 2014, the TPF has funded a "Team Kids" program for elementary children to be mentored by police officers, "We're Got Your Back" food program for needy children, assistance to the Homeless, OC Peace Officers Memorial, training for the entire Tustin Police Department, and candy for Santa's Sleigh as it goes through the City of Tustin this coming Holiday Season . These programs are made possible by donations by the public.
