Transtecno Group designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of gearboxes (worm, helical in-line, helical bevel, helical parallel and planetary) and AC and DC electric motors, either standard or customised for special projects. The Group is headquartered in Bologna, Italy, where it was first founded in 1983. Thanks to a widespread presence around the world – with subsidiaries in China, Spain, Netherlands, USA and Mexico – Transtecno represents a strategic and dynamic partner able to respond promptly to specific needs. Since January 2020 Transtecno has become part of the Power Transmission Division of Interpump Group. In May 2021, Transtecno merged with DZ Trasmissioni, historic right-angle gears, screw jacks and linear actuators manufacturer.
