Since 2004, TRAIT has stepped into complex product and brand systems and helped them actually hold up. We’re not a layered agency and we’re not a design subscription. We operate as a senior-level partner inside product-led teams, bringing clarity to live platforms, evolving brands, and high-stakes digital experiences. Our work spans startups and enterprise organizations alike, but the throughline is the same: thoughtful systems, not surface design — built to scale, adapt, and perform in the real world. at Walmart–Dick’s Sporting Goods–Target, to an ATM screen in rural India. Our partners and designers are products of Kent State University’s School of Visual Communication Design. Our developer’s roots can be traced back to Case Western University’s School of Computer Science. Our approach is business first, design second.
