Founded in 2013, Tower Press Books and its imprints publish excellent works of fiction and nonfiction that aim not only to entertain readers but to elevate Western culture and thought. The Last Men imprint publishes academic essays and treatises from the recent past, and Old Lost Books is dedicated to republishing out of print texts whose ideas merit preservation and further appreciation through a new and wider audience. Tower Press Books is devoted to publishing books that both follow in and grow the grand Western literary tradition inaugurated by Homer and continued throughout the centuries by the great authors of Europe and America. While some commercial publishers look to make a quick dollar by printing out products of ephemeral popularity, Tower Press Books has a mission with a longer and more noble legacy in mind: to publish distinguished works of literature whose permanent significance may some day earn them a place in the Western Canon.
