Busto Arsizio (VA), 06 December, 2011 - TMC Transformers is an Italian company headquartered in Busto Arsizio (Varese), in the province Lombardy. In 2012 this world leader in the production of electric transformers in resin will renew its commitment and passion to sport. TMC Transformers will be most committed to the field of cycling. As recently announced, we'll be continuing our partnership with the Italian Cycling Federation (Federazione Ciclisitica Italiana), thus consolidating the association that started in September 2011, just a few days before the World Championships at Geelong that saw the TMC Transformers logo on the Italian national team jerseys worn by our athletes in Australia. In 2012, like last year, TMC Transformers will appear on all the federal membership cards (more than 120,000 of them). Plenty of attention will be focused on young up and comers. TMC Transformers will continue its "on road" experience in 2012 by sponsoring the junior formation of the GB Junior Team, led by ex pro Gianluca Bortolami. "In sport as in the structure of a company, young people represent our greatest resource," says Luca Colombo, Executive Officer for TMC Transformers. "Young people are our future and we must place our faith in them and try to instil them with experience and values to help them on their path to development and maturity. As far as professional cycling, TMC Transformers will continue its role as title sponsor for the Gran Premio Costa degli Etruschi, the Tuscan classic with arrival in Donoratico (Livorno) which will be celebrating its 17th edition in 2012. TMC Transformers has already renewed its commitment to amateur cycling. There are two events on this calendar: the "Green" Fondo Paolo Bettini - the Geotermia scheduled for the month of April in Pomarance (Pisa) in the "warm heart" of Tuscany and the Dolomiti Classic-TMC to take place in Arabba, in the Dolomites in the province of Belluno, on the second Sunday in September.
