Tiprow Controls is an established electrical control systems manufacturer based in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa. The company has a long history of supply to the mining and heavy industry sector in Southern Africa and is now part of the IAC Group based in the UK Industrial Automation and Control in the UK bought Tiprow from Vic Warner, and resolved to keep and enhance the company values. Vic assisted in the transition, but sadly passed away after only a year of retirement. The company is determined to continue his legacy and will ensure that the company operates with integrity and honesty, always putting the customer first. The majority of the company’s employees have been with Tiprow for many years and are fully trained and experienced in the assembly of control panels Tiprow have installed an ISO9001 quality system, and is working towards an integrated system with Health, Safety and Environmental systems to be included in the eventual certification. The company is dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing and skill set of its workforce and is a level 4 contributor to BBBEE. Tiprow Controls has built a reputation for quality panel build and is working hard to maintain its position as a leading provider of electrical control panels. Training and development is at the centre of the company’s strategy, and people development is its core. Although primarily working in the mining sector, Tiprow has collaborated with its UK parent company to provide large systems in Steel, Aluminium and Materials Handling. The IAC Group now comprises the UK’s leading control systems integrators, along with ABIAC Bulk Handling, a joint venture between IAC and Ashton Bulk, specialising in wagon tipplers and stacker reclaimers, and IACems, a contract PCB manufacturer with surface mount technology capability
