TIM COPPENS Information

Tim Coppens was founded in New York in 2011. Born and raised in Belgium, Tim Coppens graduated from the internationally acclaimed Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1998. He worked with various luxury and sports-performance brands before founding his own label. His men’s and women’s collections blend the highest degree of craftsmanship with athletic inspired innovation; the energy of the city, street culture, as well as a pulse that feels both present and the future being sources of inspiration. Since his first season, Tim Coppens has received strong support and praise from both retailers and press. WWD selected him as part of the “Ten of Tomorrow” Rising Stars. Barneys New York immediately ordered his first collection and international retailers followed suit, including, Isetan, Lane Crawford, Club 21, Matches, Harvey Nichols and Mr. Porter. Tim Coppens has consistently received the highest recognition from the industry including Ecco Domani Award for “Best New Menswear Designer” (2012), Fashion Group International Rising Star of the Year Award (2013), Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Finalist (2014), CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear(2014), LVHM Prize Finalist (2014), CFDA “Menswear Designer of the Year” nomination (2014/2015), and Andam Award Finalist (2016) Most recently Tim Coppens was invited to present his Fall 2017 Collection as guest designer at the prestigious Pitti Uomo trade fair in Florence, Italy. Finally, Tim Coppens was nominated for the CFDA “Menswear Designer of the Year” Award for 2017.
