Tillful's mission is to unlock capital for the smallest of businesses by using better data. Our favorite people are small business owners that typically have challenges getting funding: brand new businesses, stretched-thin-solopreneurs, entrepreneurs in low income communities, and those owned by women and people of color. We’re a startup, and we’ve done a lot with a little. We started by creating our own alternative credit score that leverages real-time data and machine learning to give small business owners a better picture of their financial health. It also tracks closer to a true picture of risk, which we use to increase access to capital for creditworthy small businesses who aren’t seen that way by the traditional credit system. Tillful users get access to their financial health dashboard for free. In addition to their free score and business credit building tips, the Tillful dashboard features pre-approved offers (from bank accounts to small business loans) to take the guesswork out of what their business can qualify for. We’ve also launched an app and have a secured credit card on the way. Our vision is to build a full-suite platform that provides financial support to small business owners at every stage of their growth, from the very beginning to later stage scaling.
