Thrive Public Schools Information

We are a free, public charter school organization in San Diego with a mission to personalize learning and engage learners so they are Community-Minded, College-Prepared and Career-Inspired! We want students to love learning. We want our students to be joyful, eager learners who are connected to one another and to the adults in their community. We know brilliance can be messy and loud and off beat. Our students know it, too. Thrive’s educational program is designed to inspire students with a deep, intellectual curiosity and a feeling of belonging. We meet students where they are. Thrive teachers provide targeted support to each and every student. We don’t enforce a standard learning pace on all students, because we know we are working with complex learners who have varying needs. Our personalized approach allows students to take as much time as they need to master content, and it allows them to progress more quickly through material when they are ready to excel. We believe in the intersection of college and career. A good college education provides students with the foundational skills necessary to secure and maintain a career in field of interest that they are passionate about. We prepare our students for the rigors of college and provide them with robust, hands-on experiences that help them discover their gifts.
