Think Forward is a not-for-profit, participatory policymaking organisation. We research, educate and advocate to enable intergenerational care and dialogue in policymaking. We founded Think Forward because Australia’s current economic and tax policies favour the already wealthy over those starting out. Australia's tax settings drive intergenerational wealth inequality and make it harder for younger generations to feel economically secure and have a stake in the economy, whether owning a home, starting a business or getting educated. We also rarely see younger generations involved in economic and tax debates. Economics is the domain of a small and select group of people. For many young people, our economic systems can feel set in stone. Something done to us rather than something we actively participate in. Our mission is to facilitate a prosperous and fairer future through transformational change in our economic and tax systems.
