A warm and trendy restaurant, art gallery, and music venue located in the historic Swaney Swift Drugstore on Gallatin, TN's newly restored town square. Chef Jason Nunley prepares daily specials including Tennessee Prosciutto Panini, Whippoorwill Chop Salad, Organic Tomato Soup, just to name a few. We use Biodegradable Plastics and Post-Consumer Recycled Paper Products, we recycle bottles & cans and compost our food waste. The Whippoorwill features cocktails, wine by the bottle and glass, local beers, and after-dinner drinks, e.g., Scratch Margaritas, Our Bloody Marys, 18 bottled beers, eight draft beers, and a two page premium wine list. Throughout the restaurant paintings are beautifully displayed and are available for sale by artists The music events include: The Songwriters at the Whippoorwill (Every 3rd Wednesday of Month), Jesse McReynolds Bluegrass Night (Every Thursday), Live Music featuring The Parks(Every Friday), and various entertainment on Saturday Nights. The 11x9 Hi Def Rear Projection Screen is used to air special sporting events, awards ceremonies, and can be used by businesses or for special event slideshows.
