The TestPod - Making Science Accessible Our Mission is to inspire generations of New Zealanders to discover STEM, encouraging New Zealanders to see themselves in our country’s future of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The TestPod® will be New Zealand’s Science Centre. A scientific playground designed to inspire a lifelong curiosity in STEM. An iconic building dedicated to growing a more informed and scientifically involved public; a unique space striving to bring New Zealanders, New Zealand’s science community and its professionals together in one location, making access to Science easy. A hub where STEM is explored and celebrated through a diverse range of high sensory and engaging experiences, current and evolving exhibits and professional forums. Re-introducing STEM in a new and vibrant way. Catering to the interests and needs of schools and tertiary providers we aim to link the education sector and our STEM community together by providing the space to promote, discuss and explore STEM fields to school and university students.
