The SOULution Information

THE SOULution is a newspaper publication that centers around Black issues, but we will never exclude anyone with an open mind. We also invite those with differing opinions for an open and honest line of dialogue, because that's the only way we can ALL progress forward. This paper is unique, because it focuses on political commentary and incorporates Hip-Hop musik into the overall mission of the newspaper to create political awareness. The publication is distributed in three locations as of September 2003; Kentucky, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. This website will contain archives from THE SOULution`s past editions, which dates back to April 2nd, 2002. This will not replace the hard copy version of the newspaper, which will be distributed monthly. This is merely an extension of the publication. Our message to the people will go above and beyond the restraints of censorship, which we have experienced since our conception at the University of Louisville. This website will be an illustration of our creative ability. It`s THE SOULution staff`s opinion that independent creativity should never be looked down upon. Instead it should be embraced and celebrated, so let our voices speak loud and forever tell our truth. Our first issue came about April 2nd, 2002 and we`ve been going strong ever since and we will continue to take this publication to new heights and do it how its never been done before.
