The Simulation Group Information

The Simulation Group (TSG) was acquired by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on 31 January 2019 and united under the BCG Gamma brand – BCG’s advanced analytics arm. BCG Gamma’s strengths lie in in-depth advanced analytics, AI and machine learning. Combined with TSG’s expertise in simulation (“digital twins”) and optimisation, BCG Gamma will offer a broader technical toolset to complement BCG’s broader world-renowned capabilities in strategy and change management. Prior to this, TSG was a world leader in detailed analysis and optimisation of complex supply chains. TSG specialised in providing fact based strategic insights to the most challenging business problems. Founded in 1999, TSG was one of the largest consultancies of its type in the world and completed more than 500 projects in many countries and continents including Australia, South America, Africa, Indonesia, Russia and Canada. Members of the executive team pioneered dynamic simulation modelling approaches to the mining, transport and logistics industries over twenty years ago.
