There are trails out there where we discover that we never stop discovering. When we take these paths, we find choices. Challenges. Freedom. And the realization that we were made to escape. We take these trails while we blaze them at the same time. We are Bestop. 900 employees strong today, we are the world’s leading manufacturers of soft tops and accessories for Jeep CJ and Wrangler and trucks. Based in Westminster, Colorado with factories and offices throughout North America, Bestop is the sole supplier of factory soft tops for Jeep Wranglers, and premier developer of these products twenty years running. We’ve thrilled the world with breakthrough innovations such as the Bestop Supertop, Trektop NX, Trektop Pro Hybrid Soft Top, Sunrider for Hardtop NX, TrekTop NX Glide, TrekTop NX Plus. For us, the journey never ends. We just start forging down new paths. All of this started in 1954 inside a brick schoolhouse turned upholstery shop. It is here where a few visionaries fueled with grit, a passion for adventure, and a no-quit attitude shared bold and brave ideas, opening eyes as wide as the blue skies. This is our story. What is yours? What ideas and passions will you bring to the dirt road? What wakes you up every morning and excites you to not just make a difference, but BE the difference? What motivates you? Excites you? Drives you? We are always looking for people of passion to join us on our journey. Come with us.
Air Lift Company has been developing air spring suspension products for more than 70 years. The original product, a rubber air spring inserted into a car's factory coil spring, was developed and patented in 1950.
The versatility of Air Lift air springs was proven during the early years of stock car racing. Air Lift products were used by most of the stock car racing teams for twenty years and the sponsored cars were among the toughest competitors on the NASCAR Grand National Circuit.
First, in the 1950s, Air Lift pioneered the use of air spring inserts in coil spring suspensions. Then, in the 1960s, Air Lift introduced the use of sleeve-type air springs on pickup truck suspensions. During the 1980s we started using air helper springs on the motorhomes and ambulances. Street rods and lowered vehicles were the target in the 1990s. Today's products are an evolution of Air Lift's breakthrough development programs applying the use of air springs in light truck and motorhome suspensions. Air Lift has won more SEMA awards for air spring development products than any other company.
