The Oak House is a small restaurant with rooms lying at the foot of the Mendip hills. Parts of the establishment date back to the 11th Century. Original features have been retained within our grade II listed building to create a cosy atmosphere where service is relaxed and friendly. In the winter join us to toast marshmallows on our large inglenook fireplace or in summer, sit outside in the square and watch the world go by. We also boast a selection of comfortable and well appointed guest rooms, all of which have been furnished to a high standard and are offered at competitive rates. Hannah, Newstead and their team offer a warm welcome, comfortable rooms and excellent food along with passion and enthusiasm.
