Bir aile şirketi olan Yat ve Otelcilik Ltd, 1990 yılında İstanbul Ataköy Marina’da, Teoman ve Lale Hünal’ın The North Shield adını verdikleri pubın açılmasıyla kuruldu. İsmini İngiltere’deki Newcastle limanının yanındaki küçük bir kasabadan alan pubın Türkiye’de 16 şubesi bulunmaktadır. Tipik bir İngiliz pubı olan The North Shield’in tüm dekorasyonunu, iç mimar olan Teoman Hünal geliştirmiştir.
