The Maritime Museum of British Columbia Information

Welcome to the Maritime Museum of British Columbia. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and honouring the rich maritime history of British Columbia. Our museum features a variety of exhibits that showcase the many ways in which the sea has impacted our community over the years. From fishing and shipping to recreation and exploration, we celebrate all aspects of maritime life and culture. Our exhibits include historic boats, artifacts, photographs, and interactive displays that allow visitors to learn about the many different ways in which people have interacted with the sea throughout history. We also offer a range of educational programs and events for visitors of all ages, including youth programs (typically ages 3-6), workshops, and hands-on activities. Whether you are a lifelong resident of our community or a first-time visitor, we invite you to come and explore the vast maritime heritage of our town and the surrounding area.
