Founded by Jeff Fuller in 2013 with the vision of offering tailor made and high end indoor and outdoor lighting that portrays unique and hand crafted lighting design, The Light Yard is an independent lighting supplier providing a carefully selected collection of handcrafted and bespoke lighting solutions handmade in Great Britain. Originally from Kent in the South of England, Jeff is the founder of The Light Yard. His unique experience of over 10 years in high end hospitality in London and France has allowed him to offer a personalised approach to the customer journey with his clients. The Light Yard was created in 2013 after a number of years supplying high-end outdoor lighting to hotels, Châteaux and private residential throughout France, Switzerland and Belgium whilst living in Avignon (France). Since 2013, lighting designer Gwyn Carless and Jeff have worked together to build one of the north west’s most innovative businesses, with growing ranks of clients from luxury property homeowners to architects and interior designers to property developers. With offices and showroom located in the historic Mather Lane Cotton Mill, Leigh, The Light Yard has furnished bespoke fixtures for commercial and residential builds across the UK, Europe and as far afield as the island of Maui in the US state of Hawaii. Underscoring the company’s uniquely artisanal approach, the new brand identity will help to position the company for ongoing growth, as its profile grows both in the UK and internationally.
