Welcome to the Semmes Foundation Website. The Foundation is a Family Foundation established by D. R. Semmes of San Antonio in 1952. The site includes a history of the Foundation, a list of directors and officers, funding priorities and application guidelines, grant recipients and recent forms 990-PF. The Foundation was formed for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes and awards grants primarily in San Antonio. The best way to contact the Foundation is by regular mail.

The Burnsville Community Foundation was organized in 1998 by Mayor Elizabeth Kautz when the Ames Family, of Burnsville's headquartered Ames Construction, expressed interest in donating a sculpture for the newly created Burnsville Heart of the City District. The Foundation was officially organized as a 501c(3), non-profit organization with the help of William Perron, who contributed his legal and financial expertise. Since then, The Burnsville Community Foundation has continued to deliver results, fulfilling the original mission: To create art and amenities for the beautification of Burnsville. The Robert I. Schattner Foundation is a private charitable foundation established in 1992 by Dr. Robert I. Schattner. Dr. Schattner, the inventor of Chloraseptic and Sporicidin, used his success with these products to fund this foundation and for it to be able to accomplish its charitable purposes.
