Founded in 2002, The Fragrant Leaf is a team of people who are passionate about tea and the countries where tea is cultivated. Our teas are intended to delight your palate and your spirit. We are committed to bringing you the finest and freshest full-leaf teas from the best tea gardens and farms in Asia. We taste hundreds of teas each year and select only those that we judge to be of the highest quality. Many of our teas come from small farms and are handcrafted by artisan tea makers with great skill. Our focus on finding the best also carries over to our line of tea ware. We search for tea ware that is both aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. Many of our tea accessories are handmade by craftspeople who have carried on family traditions for generations. Our passion for tea has led us to explore the variety of tea traditions associated with traditional tea drinking cultures, whether the Chinese art of gongfu tea or the Japanese tea ceremony. As a result, we hope to provide you with a unique learning resource for tea and its cultural and artistic traditions.
