Our foundational goal in starting The Foundry is to call all people to a wholehearted love for God (Matthew 22:35-38; ). Our subsequent goal is to learn to grow in love for one another. We want to provide real, practical value in our community. Jesus did this everywhere he went, and he reached lost people everywhere he went (Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 22:39; Matthew 18:11-14; 1 John 3:11-18). We believe that starting new churches is one of the best ways to accomplish these objectives. New churches not only reach new people and spark new life, but they also provide new opportunities for new people to lead. Successful disciple making will result in new leaders, and new leaders need new venues in which to grow in their gifts and calling (Ephesians 4:11-13; Titus 1:5).
