The Flight School of Gwinnett is the premier flight school in the greater Atlanta area, operating out of the Gwinnett County Airport at Briscoe Field (KLZU). Established in 1982, the Flight School has trained thousands of pilots, from hobbyists to Captains. Our school is different from any other because not only when you start to fly here, you start to become family. Our values and attitude here differ from other schools that just want to rush you through the program, but here, you can fly and learn at your own pace. Everything is built around the student and not the instructor. Our instructors are here to help you learn about the amazing world of aviation and that is just the beginning. It's no surprise we have been here since 1982 and pilot's that start off here, are still coming back to either rent our aircraft or just hang out with the school. We are Part 141 and Part 61 approved.
