The Daily Barometer Information

The Daily Barometer is Oregon State University's student produced newspaper. The newspaper is published daily during the week, except for holidays, finals week and weekly during summer term. The Daily Barometer started as a monthly magazine for literature in 1896. Formerly a weekly and then a semi-weekly newspaper, it became a daily newspaper in 1922. Despite the lack of a journalism program at Oregon State University, The Daily Barometer has won several national awards, including Best All-Around Student Newspaper.
