The Collaborative Trust Information

The Collaborative for Research and Training in Youth Health and Development. We are an independent Trust offering research and training in youth health & development. We are comprised of a Board linked to two Committees by a Director. One committee is chaired by the Research Manager and one is a Training Committee. There is a part time administrative assistant. The committees are made up of volunteers who are paid for projects when contracts are won, or research grants achieved. Our vision is to ensure we have healthy well-developed young people in Aotearoa/ New Zealand. Our Mission to ensure the healthy development of young people by: • providing excellent training for people who work with youth • conducting research and evaluation in youth health and development • informing and influencing policy and practice Our Values • Partnership with Maori and honouring the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi; • Youth Participation at all levels of the organisation; • Cultural diversity; • Holistic view of healthy development which includes wellbeing in the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social, family, school and community areas of life; and • Co-ordination, not duplication, sharing and strengthening not competing.
