Having well-established relationships with all major petroleum companies and fabrication shipyards in the Marine and Offshore Oil & Gas service industry in Malaysia, FMS primarily entered the industry in the supply and servicing of navigational aids, marine safety products and life saving equipment from its head quarters in Johor Bahru. By the late 80’s FMS had acquired the relevant expertise and participated in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of architectural modules for offshore platform living quarters, and further expanded their services to include marine vessel handling operations for ports and marine spread. FMS refined itself pioneering the servicing of Life Saving Equipment namely the Single fall, Twin fall and Freefall lifeboats as well as Life rafts. FMS also supply and service an array of Marine spread and offshore technology enhanced safety equipment i.e. Lightweight Aluminum Helidecks and the new innovative personnel transfer solution FROG / TORRO series to name a few. FMS established its state-of-art service centre in Kuantan upgraded to cater the growing demand of supply and servicing Lifeboats and Life rafts with well-equipped and technologically advanced facilities making it first in the region.
