telc gGmbH, a subsidiary of the German Adult Education Association (DVV) founded more than 45 years ago, is a highly recognized non-profit educational organization based in Frankfurt, Germany. With 3,000+ telc licensed partners, 100+ telc trainers and 12,000+ licensed examiners in 20 countries, together we continue to promote life-long learning by developing language products, assessments and services to help language schools, educational institutions and learners of all ages grow. Lots has changed since the first telc certificate in the 1960s - didactically, methodologically and technically speaking. Logistics and evaluation techniques have always played a major role, whether in the form of earlier punch card systems or today's high-performance scanners. Our exchange with other major European test providers, particularly within the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE), sponsoring international conferences and cooperating with colleges and universities European-wide gives us additional momentum.
