Our team of engineers started developing RFID solutions in 1999 when passive UHF was at its bleeding edge. As of 2005, Techsolutions has been developing and manufacturing high performance Cloud based RFID readers for vehicle applications such as parking, tolling and access control. These readers are approved by ICASA. Techsolutions has also designed a RFID tag for the sugar and tobacco industries and invested in setting up a production line for local manufacturing. WHY WE USE INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY Challenging problems in industry cannot always be solved by a single technology. That is why our solutions support passive (UHF, HF and LF) as well as active RFID, RTLS (Real Time Location Systems) and GPS technologies. For one of our clients we have implemented three technologies in one solution! COMPLYING WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS For truly global RFID solutions to work well, it is necessary to comply with international standards. Open standards are the only way in which every participant in the supply chain is able to benefit. As a member of the SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) committee on auto-identification (SC71K) as well as a member of EPCglobal South Africa, Techsolutions is supporting and promoting global standards. CLOUD-BASED SOFTWARE Most of our solutions are now Cloud based and provided using the SAAS model (Software as a Service). This allows our clients to enjoy low-risk software systems with free periodic software updates and development.
