Origin Interactive Information

Origin is an independent digital product partner based in South Africa, working with clients locally and internationally. We help organisations create, improve and transform websites, mobile apps, SaaS products and platforms that work for the people using them and deliver real value to the business behind them. We start with the problem, not the solution. A brief is not always the real problem, and a feature is not always the answer. Our work moves through Understand, Define, Design, Validate, Build and Evolve. These stages overlap and repeat, because research can change the strategy and testing can change the design. What we do: research, product strategy, UX and UI design, technology, and optimisation of products that are already live. You can use one capability on its own or all of them together. We are small and senior on purpose. Our founder and Experience Director, Mike Lewis, leads product and experience direction and stays on the work. He is supported by a long-standing network of specialist researchers, designers, engineers and delivery people, brought in when a project needs them. We answer to no parent company and we are not tied to a platform or a framework, so the technology is chosen to suit the product. We have spent more than 25 years designing digital products across banking, aviation, healthcare, insurance, telecoms, media, payments and the public sector. That includes work for Standard Bank, FNB, Qatar Airways, DStv, Life Healthcare, AstraZeneca and McKinsey. More than 50 products delivered, and used by over 10 million people. If you have a product that is not performing, an idea that needs shaping, or a system that has to change, tell us where you are. You do not need a perfect brief to start. info@origin-interactive.co.za origin-interactive.co.za
