Technivorm is a Dutch manufacturer, specialized in making quality filter coffeemakers since 1969 Technivorm is the market leading manufacturer of coffeemakers for the last 60 years. These filter coffeemakers are all handmade in The Netherlands, which means that they are made and assembled by hand and individually tested in a live situation. It is the personal touch that makes these products unique. Technivorm is the manufacturer of premium quality Moccamaster coffeemakers and grinders. All Technivorm products are granted with a Seal of Approval meeting the strict quality guidelines of the European Coffee Brewing Center’s (ECBC). Technivorm’s home coffeemakers are also certified by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). Technivorm makes durable and reliable products that the consumer can fully trust. Technivorm takes care of its environment by using recyclable materials and by making sure the products are energy efficient with a long lifespan. To reflect this, the products have a 5-year limited warranty. The first model designed in 1968, first produced in 1969 was called Type 69. Ever since the Moccamaster coffeemaker had many revolutions. Some models stayed and some were developed into something better. With a wide range of products, Moccamaster has the perfect filter coffeemaker for everyones needs. The most popular machine is the Moccamaster KBG – a model with a glass jug which comes in many different colours. For consumers who prefer a thermos jug, a wide range of models is available that keeps the coffee fresh and warm up to to an hour. Technivorm produces double machine with glass and thermos jugs for professional or office use. In 2014, a total new model called the Cup-One was introduced. It is the smallest filter coffee machine and makes exactly one big cup of filter coffee, but with the quality and of the perfect cup set by the ECBC and SCA.
