Our UK based agency has been organising placements for over 10 years, building strong relationships with well-established schools in cities such as Shanghai, Beijing and Wuhan. We have two types of teaching placement available: 10/12 month jobs starting in September or February, or a 2/4 week summer internship in July. Our programme includes a TEFL, a teacher training day in London, a former teacher ‘buddy’ to turn to for help and advice, a two week training period in Beijing and access to our exclusive lesson plan library. All this is designed to ensure you walk into the classroom with confidence. Why work in China? Living like a local gives you the chance to really see the country and make a home on the other side of the world. It opens you up to a new culture like no other. What are the application requirements? For our 10/12 month programme you must be a graduate in any discipline, or be planning to graduate in July 2016. Previous teaching experience is not a requirement for any of our placements. We are looking for positive, organised and committed individuals who will take living and working abroad in their stride. Our summer programme is open to all current students and recent graduates. Will there be opportunities to travel? The teaching schedule leaves plenty of time to explore. Most of our teachers travel around China as well as other neighbouring countries such as Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia.
