Tapkey is an open platform for mobile access control. It offers an API, Mobile and Lock SDK for app providers and hardware manufacturers to easily integrate mobile access control into their products. The platform offers an ecosystem of compatible smart locks, wall readers, padlocks, furniture locks and car sharing boxes. The access technology comes with excellent features such as smartphone keys. They can be issued and revoked, instantly and remotely, and restricted to specified times and locations. Managing NFC transponders—in the form of tags, cards and wristbands—is possible directly via mobile phone. Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth (BLE) enables Android and iPhone users to open locks—even while offline. Additionally, Tapkey boasts high security standards.
