Volunteer internship at an Open Kindergarten classroom at Peach Plains Elementary School in Grand Haven MI (1990) and MATEDC's Emotional Impairment Summer Camp (150 hours - 1991). Started and ran an international penpal club between students at Peach Plains Elementary Schools in Grand Haven, MI and Cracow, Poland (1992 - 1993).)

  A GVSU PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (This transatlantic experience included visiting the Auschwitz concentration camp, the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine, and fine dining with Polish diplomats in Warsaw (the countries capital). Engaging weekends beyond Poland's borders facilitated global competency. Visited Russia's boarder, experienced farming and agriculture in the Tatra Mountains and traveled to Prague in what is now the Czech Republic .)
