Haukeland universitetssjukehus har om lag 11.600 tilsette som kvar dag har som mål å gje best muleg behandling og pleie til pasientane våre. Våre tilsette er den viktigaste ressursen vår. Vi arbeider for å knytte til oss dei beste fagfolka og vil legge til rette for at alle tilsette skal trivast og yte sitt beste. Kvart år behandlar vi nesten 600.000 pasientar og vi utdannar eit par tusen helsearbeidarar. Forsking er ei viktig oppgåve, og vi er Noregs nest største medisinske forskingsmiljø. Vi har dessutan ei rekkje kompetansesenter og spesialfunksjonar både på nasjonalt og regionalt plan. Budsjettet vårt er på om lag 9,4 milliardar kroner. Dei tilsette er den viktigaste ressursen vår. St. Olavs hospital, Trondheim University Hospital, is integrated with NTNU, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, and owned by the Central Norway Regional Health Authority. The main tasks of the Hospital (public health enterprise) are patient treatment, the teaching of patients and their relatives, research, and education for health professionals. The hospital has 9726 employees in 7064 labouryears. Total annual budget amounts to 7,3 billion (Dec. 31, 2011).
