More than anything Oregon Eclipse was a testament to will, hard work, and the most amazing group of talented builders, creators, movers & shakers we have ever had the privilege to work with. And a site far away from populated metro areas became host to the most special experience we ever had the honor to work on Symbiosis 2016 felt like home. Three events in one location has been the longest tenure for our nomadic band of creatives, builders, and wackadoodles and we truly settled in to make this experience special From our humble beginnings as a backwoods (occasionally renegade) community pot-luck of the arts, no one could have predicted what happened at Woodward Reservoir in 2015. One of the main goals of Symbiosis was always to push the bounds of what was possible, and while its one helluva cliche, weve taken that cliche very, very seriously Oddly enough, by the time SG13 had rolled around, it had been 4 years since our last California event. In January of 2013, we had found a new potential home in theWoodward Reservoir Regional Park. The park had never hosted an event of this magnitude and significant discussions were required from both sides to see if there was a fit Pyramid Eclipse was an experience with more facets than an Chiliagon. After over a year of permitting and many moons of planning, communing and collaborating with many different factions of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe community, we began planning for a spectacle that would culminate in an Annular Eclipse Symbiosis Gathering at Camp Mather was an important turning point for many.
