Originally founded as a software development firm, Sunwire achieved early success by developing the SolSwitch – a state-of-the-art, fully customizable and scalable IP-based telephone system (PBX). Sunwire’s hard work and determination earned them the 2012 Sudbury Chamber of Commerce’s Business Start-Up Award. Today, Sunwire offers business telecommunication solutions across Canada - including: commercial internet, business phone lines and cloud phone service for businesses. Sunwire’s offerings also include residential internet, home phone and IPTV services across Ontario. With 50 dedicated employees, Sunwire was the 2020 Northern Ontario Business Awards’ Company of the Year and was named one of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies two years in a row by Canadian Business and Maclean’s.
