Sunset Sessions Information

Michele Clark’s Sunset Sessions are music industry events that bring together radio stations from across the country, music supervisors from film, TV, games & sports, record companies, managers, publishers, press, networks and booking agents with the primary purpose of exposing them to great new music while connecting with each other and the artists in an intimate setting. It began in 1998 when independent radio promotion person Michele Clark decided there must be a way to guarantee a powerful and passionate audience for in St. Thomas and has travelled all over the world on this new music adventure to Give Artists a True Chance to Be Heard, and give people an opportunity to connect on a very human level. Sunset Sessions also hosts Songwriter retreats, tours, festivals, showcases and parties! Sunset Sessions was instrumental in the launches of artists and campaigns for artists such as Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, The Black Keys, Five for Fighting, Dead Sara, AWOLNATION, Ryan Adams, Fun. Colbie Caillat, Sia, Zac Brown Band, James Blunt, Joss Stone, Needtobreathe, Pete Yorn, Grace Potter, ZZ Ward, John Butler Trio, Beware of Darkness, Vintage Trouble, Tristan Prettyman, Everclear, Gary Clark Jr, Bob Schneider, Donovan Frankenreiter , Susan Tedeschi to name a few. The event also hosts legendary favorites such as Stevie Nicks, Carlos Santana, Chris Isaak, Melissa Etheridge, Jimmy Cliff, Sammy Hagar, Lucinda Williams, Wayne Coyne, Ziggy Marley, Billy Corgan, POD, Richie Sambora, Jewel, Roseanne Cash, Stephen Stills, Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, Serj Tankian, Jack Tempchin and Toots & The Maytals. It’s main conventions are usually held 2x a year in Southern California, while other events throughout the year include a SXSW show in Austin TX, a national tour, international songwriter retreats with a TV show in pre-production.
