We did not invent it and we do not control it, so what you receive is a description of your own systems in a documented, published form. Your team can read it and your migration partner can consume it. No proprietary format, so no format lock-in. Every element carries a reference back to the line of source it came from, so anything the model tells you can be traced and audited. Why this matters now.
