Since 1994, Challenger Baseball has been building community in the St. Louis region through league games, weekly off-season calls to maintain connections, special group activities, and educational sessions at area schools. We seek to have a buddy (a person without a disability between the ages of 10 and 25) to be with each of our players. As you may know, our players have all of the characteristics that a person looks for in a friend. Our players are kind, intelligent, have a great sense of humor, care about others before themselves… and so much more. We would like our buddies to understand that our players don’t need you to take care of them (although some may need a little help now and then), but they would love to be your friend.
