START Information

START is a Salford based mental health charity that uses creativity, connection and recovery interventions to help improve people's lives. We are passionate about providing the very best support for the people in our community who we are lucky enough to meet through our work. All of our work is directed towards improving the health and wellbeing of target groups within the local community, in particular people who are at risk of experiencing mental health difficulties. We offer a number of specific programmes, all of which help people to recognise their potential, reconnect with others and integrate back into their neighbourhoods; providing onward pathways into a network of community assets to support them to engage in further training, education, employment, volunteering and leisure pursuits.
