StarLightMedia is the largest Ukrainian TV group. It consists of 6 TV stations and 10 media companies. StarLightMedia unites 4 national terrestial TV broadcasters (STB, ICTV, Novy kanal, and M1), cable TV network QTV and satellite TV station M2. The group’s share for audience of 14-49 has made 27.33% (here and further figures are given for 50K+, Nielsen’s television audience research data belongs to TIC, provided by StarLightMedia). The margin over closest competitor is 46% and even higher for middle and upper income Ukrainians — 54%. StarLightMedia head is Volodymyr Borodyansky. STB's core audience is female, ICTV's core audience is male, Novy and M1 viewers are young people. M2, as well as M1, is a music channel. QTV is a broadcaster for young male audience with mostly cartoon content. The proportion of group’s television inventory in the first half of 2015 accounted for a third of Ukrainian market of TV advertising (34.7% for 14-49 50K+). Holding is able to meet any advertiser’s needs concerning coverage, frequency and quality of the contact. Our digital sales house offers contact with 20 million of Ukrainian internet users (reach 95%). There are three production compamies within the group: StarLight Films (serials, films), Vavёrka (sitcoms), and StarLight Commercial Production (brand integration to TV and commercials). StarLight Rental is a video production equipment rental (cameras, lighting, grips, electrics, etc.). StarLight Scenery constructs settings for video production. StarLight Digital develops online solutions for the group.
