Resource Star Limited is a publicly-listed Australian company (ASX:RSL) that has interests in uranium exploration projects in Malawi, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and in a multi metal prospect in Tasmania. Currently, the Company's principal focus is on the 100% controlled Livingstonia Uranium Project in Malawi, the Spinifex Uranium Project in Western Australia and pursuing new resource acquisition opportunities in metals and commodities other than uranium. The Livingstonia Project has a JORC compliant Inferred Mineral Resource of 8.3 million tonnes averaging 325ppm U3O8 for a contained 6 million pounds of U3O8 with the potential to grow the Resource through further exploration. The Spinifex Project is an unconformity hosted uranium exploration project in northern Western Australia with historic sampling having returned results in excess of 2,000ppm U3O8 with a maximum result of 13.5% U3O8. Drill targets have been identified by Resource Star for follow up. Resource Star has its head office in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. As of December 2012, the Top 20 shareholders owned about 76% of the Company, and the UK AIM-listed company Red Rock Resources plc is the major shareholder with about 40%.
