Sprung Interactive is a Minneapolis software studio. We design, build, and support web apps, mobile apps, and WordPress sites for small businesses, national brands, and the agencies behind them. Founder Clay Johnston has built for the web since 1995, back when the internet made dial-up noises. He led developers at Internet Broadcasting, including the teams behind NBC's Olympics websites, then started Sprung in 2010. More than 400 projects later, clients include American Express, Medtronic, Life Time, Minnesota Public Radio, and Surly. What we do: • Custom web apps: client portals, dashboards, booking systems, and internal tools • iPhone and Android apps, from first sketch to App Store and Google Play • WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify sites • HTML email and animated banner ads • Accessibility audits (WCAG 2.2 AA), AI search visibility (AEO), and security audits • Hosting and Site Wellness Service: updates, backups, and monitoring We stay small on purpose. You work directly with Clay, and each project gets a team sized to it, drawn from senior developers and designers he's worked with for years. No account managers, no hand-offs. Agencies: we've worked white-label since 2010. Your name goes on the work. Ours stays off.
