Sports Traider Information

Sports Traider helps and gives opportunities to kids to help them excel and achieve. Here's how we do this. We make specialist clothing and equipment available to youngsters for whom such items would be an inaccessible luxury. Plus we channel the money we raise back where it belongs - into the grass-roots sport for disabled and disadvantaged young people. Sports Traider uses proceeds generated from its charity retail units, events and donations to fund coaching, access to facilities such as creating sports clubs and gyms, and even help with the transport where required to get talented but disadvantaged aspiring athletes to training. We will fund time on tennis courts, in swimming pools, gyms and other playing and training facilities. Helping participants to advance in skills, we will help them acquire the specialist kit they need – clothing, footwear, sports equipment, bursaries and so on. Buying kit outright won’t be the only option. For some, sports such as skiing and riding etc, we will make kit available to rent as well as buy. That way, young people who simply want to try out a sport – or go on a school ski trip – can do so without a significant outlay on equipment. And for the most promising and disadvantaged young people, we will help them gain membership of clubs or facilities to ensure they get the right training, including funding bursaries to the best specialist centres and academies.
