SphereCube is a startup and spinoff of the Marche Polytechnic University, specializing in a high-performance composite 3D printer system (long reinforcement and thermoset matrix) capable of fabricating high-performance composites while reducing production phases and automating the entire process. We are able to create high-resistance parts using the best materials without the need for expensive molds and autoclaves. Our process reduces production time significantly and is completely automated. Through the interaction of a heat source with the raw materials involved in the process, SphereCube’s system enables the production of components in composite material with continuous fiber reinforcement and thermosetting matrix. The MISSION of SphereCube is to get rid of composite processing scraps and molds, in order to reduce the environmental impact of composite production. The VISION of SphereCube is to enhance the sustainability of the entire manufacturing sector, exploiting the fabrication of composite 3D printers being less energy-consuming, able to work with biocompatible materials and more connected, with the aim of building a supply chain 100% sustainable.
